ABSTRACT: This article has the objective of make an analysis of the Ecuadorian society, and the deeply chaos in what this country lived before the year 2005. In this year, the Citizen's Revolution and the Patria Altiva y Soberana or Proud and Sovereign Fatherland Alliance, came to the power by elections. The article show briefly some of the characteristics of the Movement and how it tried to joint all the parties of the left in one movement, UNIDOS. Also it explains what it is the meaning of the Latin American Meeting of Friendship with the Countries (Encuentro Latinoamericano de Amistad con los Pueblos) (ELAP) that was celebrated in Quito, in September of 2014, and the agreements that were approved for joint too the Latin American left and its continuity in 2015.
