This work is related to Sustainable Development Goals 2, 4, 11, 12 and 13 of the 2030 Agenda. The creation of family gardens is a viable alternative to not depend on external factors that can hit the family economy and be beneficial to health. The main objective of the research is to develop a culture of food security in the families of the Panorama neighborhood. Theoretical, empirical and mathematical-statistical methods were used to bring the researchers closer to the object of research and with the help of the techniques and instruments it was possible to collect primary information from the 84 families belonging to the Panorama neighborhood. Family gardens have been created in the community, which has increased the knowledge of the inhabitants about which are the healthiest foods for human consumption and therefore has increased the food security of the families.
