HERNANDEZ-MANSO, Yunielys  e  FONSECA-LETTE, Mercedes. Living Cultural Heritage in the Team’s Party of Majagua. Their Stylistic Differences. Estudios del Desarrollo Social [online]. 2022, vol.10, n.3  Epub 01-Dez-2022. ISSN 2308-0132.

The popular dances of the peasantry, throughout the history of man himself, have resulted in manifestations of great dynamics, freedom and spontaneity. These, which are the result of the ways in which the peasant in his context supported himself to celebrate or frame some event, contain considerable importance because they reveal ways of life, characteristics of certain regions and the essence of their own executors. The Peasant Festival and Dances of Majagua are an example of this and it is therefore that their study finds a place in this research. The objective of this research was to analyze the Peasant Festival of Majagua as a living cultural heritage, based on the stylistic distinction of the dances of each of the sides that make it up. Based on the qualitative character with an ethnographic approach that supports this research were used the following methods: historical-logical, analysis-synthesis, documentary analysis, ethnographic method, observation and interview. The importance of the research lies in the analysis, description and assessment of peasant dances as a cultural value of the Majagua Festival, and in the presentation of a stylistic analysis of the sides that make up said festival.
