QUINTANA GALENDE, María Luisa et al. Considerations on Curriculum Analysis in the examination of pedagogical knowledge for the promotion of teaching degree. Educ Med Super [online]. 2013, vol.27, n.3, pp. 255-261. ISSN 0864-2141.

We dealt with some aspects related to the curriculum analysis as part of the pedagogical exercise for the promotion of the teaching degree in the case of Associate Professors and Full Professors that meet the necessary requirements for it according to what is established by the rules of the Ministry of Higher Education (MHE) and its implementation on medical universities. We emphasized on the selected undergraduate or postgraduate curriculum, the aspects to be considered, the pertinence of the macro curriculum, the curricular mesh, the correspondence between objectives and contents, and its scope towards the teaching-learning process, and the sequence and coordination of activities among others. Finally, we make general and specific recommendations that permit a successful performance and preparation on the contenders for the categories and a more homogeneous performance by the examining board constituted for this process that are in session each year in the medical universities of the country.
