SALAZAR-SALAZAR, Maritza; COLOMA-RODRIGUEZ, Orestes e COLOMA-SALAZAR, Manuel Enrique. Learning difficulties in Higher Education. Luz [online]. 2024, vol.23, n.1 Epub 15-Mar-2024. ISSN 1814-151X.
The present article addresses the issue regarding learning in higher education given the current need to make the student the center of his/her learning process. The qualitative approach was used as the main research approach, specifically the situation case study method and the family tree, in addition to empirical methods such as: survey, pedagogical tests and observation, as well as mathematical statistics for the processing of the applied instruments. A method is proposed for the analysis of the learning process in university students and a study of the factors that influence the main difficulties encountered is carried out. Results achieved by applying the method offer satisfactory evidence of its generalization possibilities and show that the most prevailing learning difficulty is low school performance, caused by a low achievement motivation in students and the emotional interference of teachers and families.
