The importance of education policies in the framework of higher-level skills in Central America has been worked on in an accelerated way.The curricula of higher education in the area of teaching a foreign language, in this case English, law, medicine or Spanish literature should be oriented to the teaching and learning through competences with the purpose of training students in order to be able to adopt, execute, socialize, and empower methodological strategies of higher level; this is helpful to raise the academic quality. To get this objective, it is necessary to include the dimensions of the universities: teaching, research and extension. Thus, this inclusion, can help out to an assertive and transparent result. What is previously stated is necessary to since the transformation of a curriculum is complex where the syllabi, methodologies, and the process itself make a link to the construction of a national, regional, and local identity. In this way, it is also remarkable to include human resources and academics to establish strong education politics. Therefore, it is of great importance to reflect and act in the development of communicative competences in the curricula in higher education.
