The case of a 76-year-old patient that had an abdominal contusion caused by a fall  from her feet was presented. She received attention due to a picture of abdominal pain that intensified during the observation period. An abdominal puncture that yielded positive was performed. She underwent an emergency exploratory laparotomy, where it was found a jejunum perforation produced by avulsion of intraabdominal adherences.
