A proposal, based on experiences of methodology), during five years, applying learning productive methods in the subject Water Quality was presented at the University of Ciego de Avila (UNICA). The methods were applied as educational tasks in all the program agendas and the final assessment of the subject through different kinds of games. The task was accomplished in five years, 74.2% of students attained excellent marks (5), while the rest obtained good marks (4)). In the last evaluation the results exceeded the previous results. These methods, besides increasing the self-study of the students, contributed: to improve oral expression, to develop their imagination, to search for different alternatives for the solution of a given problem and encourage behavioral changes through group interchanges.
