The article presents an applied alternative to favor Strategic and Commercial Management subject learning for Industrial Engineering's 5th year students at the Ciudad Universitaria José Antonio Echeverría (CUJAE)' Technical Sciences University Northern University Branch, under the part-time attendance modality. In learning engineering, the practice can be carried out in the manner of learning situations, for students learn solving problems and tasks, as well as contributing with different solutions, in an environment that guides the acquired knowledge in terms of their future performance as professionals. The article suggests the introduction of the cognitive learning as a model to be applied in the teaching-learning process, using the six methods of teaching as a support for the subject's learning.
