Knowledge management has a leading role in the generation of wealth of a nation and contributes to improving its economic development. This article aims to analyze how a private university of Guayaquil has carried out knowledge management with the actors of the university community. This research was descriptive, not experimental, and mixed methods that combined qualitative and quantitative elements were used for the diagnosis. The results showed that the authorities obtained positive values of the dimensions of the GC while the entrepreneurs had deficient evaluations regarding aspects such as the capacity of transfer of knowledge from the academy to the company and others aspects such as active participation and cooperation between the two axes. Students were able to observe a positive perception regarding accessibility because they reported high grades according to the availability of systems and databases for access to information.
