The Care Management is an action characteristic of nursing professional performed together other persons to promote your health, to prevent, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate the possible diseases that could be present and for that reason it is necessary to apply the transcultural nursing theory. A cross-sectional and descriptive was conducted to determine if our professional perform the nursing care management from the transcultural perspective. The study was conducted from January to March, 2008 in 280 nursing professionals of primary and secondary health care (25% of the universe) selected by random simple sampling. The needed variables were collected by survey and by specialist criteria. There were insufficient knowledges on this subject, mainly in the youngest and with less years of graduate; those of secondary care have better results; from the 26 ones that manifested have received courses or another type of training on transculturation, only 16 of them maintain those knowledges.
