Introduction: it's established that the clinical-pathological educational meeting of deceased adults analysis that provides to the clinical thought and the behaviour diagnosis-therapy whose develop could be faulty for not existing an appropriate methodology (officially guided)) that guarantees the scientific level of this analysis, in damage of the competent formation of the Basic General Physician and the specialist in Integral General Medicine and consequently of the quality of the services that they lend, what constitute a problem of the educational practice. Diverse authors emphasize on the scientific foundation of this analysis, because the guarantee of its efficiency is determined by the depth of the interrelation of the health-illness and of teaching-learning processes. Objective: to highlight the scientific foundation of the clinical-pathological analysis of deceased adults in the primary level of health. Method: it was carried out a search bibliographic in the database CUMED using the thesaurus DeCS as search expression to look for modernized information on the with theme dealt. Results: the risk factors influence negatively, accelerating the aging, the illnesses and the death; The prevention is the guarantee for the conservation with quality the human life; The competent acting of those professionals of the health guarantee the appropriate attention to the process health-illness; The scientific professional competence analysis before a deceased adult allows to detect learning necessities. Conclusions: the scientific foundation of the analysis of deceased adults is determined by the evaluation of the professional competence before the health-illness process identifying learning necessities.
