From the transformations that have taken place in the National Education System since the 2010-2011 school year, technical training in Nursing is integrated into the University of Medical Sciences of Havana. The construction of texts occupies an important place in the Spanish-Literature subject and at the same time constitutes an indispensable component of it and of vital importance in the preparation of Nursing technicians. The article presented aims to develop complementary exercises to enhance the development of the construction of texts in students, based on an appropriate diagnosis and have creativity as a distinctive element. From the application of different empirical methods, difficulties were detected in the construction of texts among which are: no adjustment to the theme and insufficient ideas, poor vocabulary, grammatical errors among others. The complementary exercises for the development of the construction of texts start from an interdisciplinary, participatory and systemic approach in which the functional components are interrelated from the selection of texts that with a universal character correspond in an intertextual way with the works object of I study in the programs. The specialists value the complementary exercises and the results of the partial application as feasible, innovative and creative, thus endorsing it.
