For several decades, the State and the Ministry of Public Health have developed policies, programs, and protocols dedicated to women's integral health. Nevertheless, the capital objective has yet to be fulfilled, a problem that has motivated the author in the search for Aspects that interfere with policies aimed at sexual and reproductive health, where it can be seen that aspects as ingrained as socio-cultural, interfere with the fulfillment of these guidelines and affect the increase of maternal mortality in this community. The objective was to improve the educational level of the population and the policy of Sexual and Reproductive Health to reduce maternal mortality in the community of Guanujo. This research showed that the incidence of maternal mortality involves the lack of interdisciplinary teamwork, where each individual and family joins community work with a dose of responsibility. And this one gains a holistic approach encompassing not only the health from the biological point of view, but all the socio-cultural aspects that respond to this one, emphasizing in the educational thing.
