GUTIERREZ PINCHERIA, Daiana; DERONCELE ACOSTA, Angel  e  ULLOA GUERRA, Oscar. Qualifications at the bachelor of social work level in Chile: anchoring competencies. Conrado [online]. 2022, vol.18, n.86, pp. 344-352.  Epub 02-Jun-2022. ISSN 1990-8644.

In Chile, the National Framework of Qualifications for Higher Education, defines 5 levels of qualification, taking into account some training gaps that occur in the access and graduation of the Bachelor of Social Work, the present investigation has as objective: to design a proposal of generic graduate competencies for the Bachelor of Social Work level, which serve as a basis for the design of training plans and programs that guarantee a graduate prepared to perform effectively in the face of the socio-professional challenges that he or she will face. For this, a documentary review was carried out that allowed establishing an epistemological systematization of the central concepts and their relationships. The results evidenced the diversity and variety of offers for training in social work, revealing an integrated system of competencies: critical, epistemic, informational, communicative, interventional, and ethical that can contribute to continue improving the educational quality of Chilean higher education. Finally, these aspects open a space for new debates on educational models, disciplinary training approaches and re-discipline strategies, to have tools to face the current and future challenges of Chilean and international social work.
