This study aimed to determine the relationship between digital skills and autonomous learning in students of a private university in Lima. The study was developed from the quantitative approach, non-experimental design, basic type and correlational level. The population consisted of 2,430 students from the Faculty of Engineering of a Private University of Lima and the sample was 186 students from the ninth and tenth cycles selected by non-probabilistic sampling of an intentional type. The survey technique was used and as an instrument two questionnaires were used to evaluate each variable; these were validated by expert judgment and their reliability was specified with Cronbach's Alpha coefficient. The results indicate that both variables were located at a moderate level above 50%. It is concluded that there is a moderate direct significant relationship between digital skills and autonomous learning in students from a private university in Lima, demonstrated with Spearman's Rho of 0.561 and p-value < 0.005 < 0.05, therefore, by increasing the Digital skills will increase autonomous learning in students of a private university in Lima.
