MORALES ASTUDILLO, Janneth Anatolia; GONZALEZ LOOR, María Isabel e VAZQUEZ AVILES, Paúl Andrés. Educational methodologies in the infant stage of teaching in Ecuador: research in the province of Azuay. Conrado [online]. 2024, vol.20, n.96, pp. 22-31. Epub 28-Fev-2024. ISSN 1990-8644.
The study focuses on analyzing the pedagogical practices of Initial Education teachers in the Province of Azuay. The research uses an exploratory-descriptive qualitative approach and is based on a field design. Data was collected through interviews, classroom observation, and dialogues with educators. The sample included three educators, all women, two in public institutions and one in a private one. The results highlight that the pedagogical practices of an Early Childhood educator are creative and dynamic, creating an emotional environment conducive to learning through communication and dialogue. The importance of using educational resources and materials to integrate knowledge and experiences in children is emphasized. In conclusion, the study highlights the essence of pedagogical practices by combining specialized knowledge with social and humanist principles. These principles promote a dynamic, inclusive and reflective teaching approach in teaching processes. The results not only illuminate the particularities of the pedagogical practices in initial education in the Province of Azuay, but also enrich the theoretical and practical perspectives in education.
