Science and technology are linked and develop in a constant feedback and transformation. Advances in one have a decisive influence on the other and new knowledge is generated that has an impact on the individual, the community, life in society and acquired values, all of which is included in the establishment of general culture. One of the main transformations resulting from this relationship is the emergence of new fields of interconnection, given the need for a comprehensive training of the health professional. The general objective of this work is to support the need to integrate history and the arts for the solution of social problems in the professional medical culture. Teachers, workers and public health professionals are among those who most need to achieve a culture that allows them to improve their understanding in current times. The fragmentation of knowledge that is established in medical education could find a solution in educational strategies that integrate the sciences, the arts and history, making use of the vast potential of technology.
