The implementation of the Plan of Studies "E" imposed challenges to the formative process in Higher Education. In that sense, the flexibility in the general curriculum, in the programs of General Education subjects, such as History of Cuba, implied the challenge of the sensitive reduction of its hours/classes and its structuring, sustained from the system of knowledge of the basic science with those of the profession, so that it reveals the systemic interrelation between the design and its execution and not only as a methodological indication. Hence, this article focuses on analyzing the results of the application of a longitudinal pedagogical quasi-experiment, with experimental and control groups for the evaluation of the program of the subject exposed in the careers of technical-agricultural profile of the Agrarian University of Havana (UNAH). The systematization of previous studies together with the historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive methods, class observation and surveys, allowed studying the evolution and pertinence of the programs, through the experts' criteria and, the results obtained, to specify the curricular conception of the subject's program according to the formative process of the related careers.
