Determining quality and poor quality costs is very useful to decision-making in companies. However, it is hardly done in health care institutions, especially regarding their three core factors, namely conditions, patients, and treatments. This paper is aimed at determining poor-quality health care costs in treating hepatic cirrhosis at the Institute of Gastroenterology, which are detrimental to the appropriate use of resources allocated for treating this condition.
