Participatory action research (IAP) is used in the transformations of the pedagogical practice of the teacher, where evaluation is one of the components of the most mobile teaching in the educational teaching process. The objective of the work is to transform the evaluation through an action research process to improve the teaching-learning process of Basic Statistics in the Law Degree. The fundamental theoretical methods were the logical historical and the deductive inductive, the praxis was used, the observation with the instruments, the teacher's diary, the field diary and the self-management table. The fundamental results were students with the ability to carry out criticism and self-criticism through co-evaluation and self-evaluation, systemic interrelation between the research and academic component and knowledge responding to social problems and the profession of the students. It can be concluded that a transformation to evaluation was carried out from an action research process involving the fundamental factors of the teaching-learning process.
