The high frequency of skin cancer today represents a serious health problem that is increasing. All countries should give priority to putting into practice integrated health promotion and prevention strategies, since the incidence of skin cancer has tripled in the last two decades. Under these discussions, a broad methodological change has developed in the way of teaching and learning the contents of medical sciences, above all, due to the necessary link that must be achieved with professional practice. This article presents the results obtained from Expert Criteria and the Delhi Technique that allowed the scientific validation of the strategy, which was evaluated as very adequate. The methods of observation of the strategy in the different stages and of the student in his labor, investigative and extensionist dimensions; as well as the questionnaire to assess their satisfaction, made it possible to obtain the positive, negative and interesting aspects of the strategy, and reflected the level reached of the implemented strategy and the satisfaction of the students in their dermatological training for cancer prevention cutaneous in the community.
