LUGO CEREZO, Daniel; JIMENEZ RODRIGUEZ, David; GARCIA CRUZ, Rubén e LOAIZA MIRANDA, Susana. Factors associated with organizational citizenship behavior in nursing staff: meta-analysis. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.6, pp. 156-164. Epub 01-Dez-2022. ISSN 2218-3620.
Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) plays an important role in the proper functioning of the institution. This article shows a synthesis of studies of factors associated with OCB in nursing staff. The objective was to analyze and synthesize the factors associated with OCC in nursing personnel. Methodology: meta-analysis of correlations with a description of aggregate data and combination of results. The search for information was carried out in PubMed and Cochrane on September 6, 2022. Results: A total of 21 studies and 10 factors associated with OCB in nursing personnel were determined; obtaining means of the true score had a range of 0.16 a 0.6;. A positive and moderate confirmation is limited in the factors of Emotional Intelligence (EI), Ethical Leadership (EL), Work Performance (WP), Ethical Climate (EC) and Job Satisfaction (JS) with a conversion of 0.6, 0.59, 0.53, 0.51 and 0.55 respectively. It is concluded that the highly significant factors to design intervention programs in nursing personnel for health institutions are: EI, EL, EP, EC and JS. These constructs should be part of intervention programs and can promote change towards positive behavior in health institutions.
