In US Election 2016, digital social networks were used by politicians as a key channel to share their interests and inform their followers about the campaign and government projects. This article analyzes the political discourse of Donald J. Trump, in his profile @ realDonaldTrump on Twitter, since his nomination as a candidate of the Republican Party on July 21st until his election as the 45th president of the United States of America, on November 8th.
