The Cuban Society of Family Medicine was founded in 1994. During these 3 years of work, its branch in Santa Clara has developed some experiences with the application of educative techniques of group communication in different activities of its Board of Directors. These techniques have been used with different ends (meetings, annual balances, and scientific meetings) and have allowed to give valuable ideas, to attract members with creativity, to achieve a pleasant interchange at the mmetings and, above all, to attain group cohesion in the working group of the Borad of Directors. The utilization of this participative methodology has promoted the work of the society in our province, creating an attractive space for health professionals in Villa Clara.
