As an essential premise, the analysis of social phenomena demands a theoretical treatment. Taking into account this epistemological requirement, we carry out an approach to the analysis of Health Culture. Regarding this term, there are diverse criteria that reduce it to the individual behaviors of social subjects. In addition, experts consider that health professionals fail to clearly understand this term because it is associated with both nutritional and hygienic habits, and exercises. Therefore, an approach to its concept is necessary to contribute to its foundation.
