This article is a partial result of a research that is being developed in order to achieve the academic degree Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences at the University of Holguín; which argues the need and potential of the application of training projects in the training process of students of the Bachelor in Mechanical Education. A training project designed for the study of the use of machine tools is presented; specifically for the lathe; intended for the main integrative discipline Labor and Research Didactic Training.Applied research methods: theoretical:analysis-synthesis,historical-logical,document review, modeling; among the empirical: observation, interviews, surveys. Greater results are obtained in student learning, from the integration of the contents of the subjects of the disciplines of the profession.
