The internationalization of Spanish public universities is framed in the four strategic axes of internationalization defined by the General Secretariat of Universities and provides the realization of specific actions that do not necessarily imply only travel or mobility of teachers, students or service personnel and/or the signing of agreements. Spanish Public Universities have developed a broad scenario of common internationalization activities, including those specific to each university. Aid and cooperation programs for development and volunteering are increasingly present in the reports of the actions carried out by the international relations departments or vice-rectors’ offices. The fifty Spanish public universities develop internationalization events and actions, focused mainly on the European Space, followed by actions with the Ibero-American space and the United States and increasingly with the universities in Asia.
