The professional orientation towards military careers of command profile constitutes one of the priorities in the Military Schools «Camilo Cienfuegos», for the importance that the student has to make a conscious professional selection, based on their interests and real possibilities in accordance with the needs from the country. The objective of the work was to develop a pedagogical strategy to improve the professional orientation process towards military careers with a higher education command profile, at the «Camilo Cienfuegos» Military School in the Pinar del Río province. In the investigative process, the dialectical-materialist method was assumed as a general method, which supported the theoretical and empirical methods that made possible the study and systematization of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the process under investigation. The practical result consisted in the pedagogical strategy that, from its curricular actions in close relation with the extracurricular ones, favored the professional orientation given the levels of help to the students that facilitated the acquisition of knowledge, development of abilities, capacities, motives and professional interests towards military careers with command profile.
