The development of skills as part of the formation of the primary master, is today one of the main challenges in the initial training. In particular, enhance skill development temporary location, becomes learning problem while professional problem, to ensure that they can understand the past, to understand the present and the future in ways consistent performance with the requirements social. This paper aims to present the results of the study on the current status of this process of skill development temporary location with professional focus on career Bachelor in Elementary Education at the University of Pinar del Río. To do methods such as historical and logical, document analysis, interviews with teachers, survey of teachers training and observation classes were used, which led to evidence the current state of the process in the initial training of primary teacher, taking as methodological basis dialectic-materialistic method. Systematization was made possible to know that the topic has been little discussed, in the particular context of this professional at the undergraduate level. In the historical development of the various curricula has not yet achieved the appropriation of the internal structure of this ability by students, which limits significantly the relevance of the training process, affecting negatively the students take ownership of historical content and develop the historical way of reasoning.
