Today’s world is very complex, where a new social, economic and political order prevails, posing a continual and more and more difficult challenge - the need for a conception of development to be found and implemented, which truly achieve gender equality. This paper discusses some of the most relevant conceptual approaches to gender audit in order to determine the quality, effectiveness, and social impact of organizational internal practices and support systems on gender perspective, equity and equality within entities.
