The research conducted allowed to deepen in the current context of corporate social responsibility (CSR) as well as in the main theories, dimensions and advantages for companies. An analysis is presented of the earnings that the implementation of CSR would have for the sugar agroindustry, to contribute to the satisfaction of the demands of stakeholders, consumer confidence, the reduction of negative impacts on the environment, the development of good relations with the community, the increase of production, the maximization of economic value and the increase of the competitiveness of its products in the international market.
