Higher Education Institutions in Ecuador are set up to develop and innovate their academic work, in such a way that their performance responds to the needs, challenges and imperatives of the national sociocultural context for which they attend the fourth level training of professionals. The study deals with the Master's programs in Education of the Indoamérica University: University Teaching and Educational Administration; Nursery Education and Innovation and Educational Leadership. From a qualitative methodology, from the methods analysis and synthesis and inductive deductive is integrated an applied and descriptive research that allows to interpret the documentation, build the state of the art on the subject, describe the academic praxis of the programs, identify the types of research carried out, the subjects that were the subject of research and the methodology used in the master thesis projects. With the objective of analyzing the UTI Education programs and their contribution to the professional development of teachers. The master's degree programs meet the requirements for the formation of an innovative professional profile, they have been well received at national level and have a high efficiency index. But the need to link with local problems, the inclusion of new intercultural methodological perspectives, greater socialization of research results, and the insertion of programs to research projects in the country and the region is recognized.
