COQUE VILLEGAS, Shirley Guisella  e  PONCE GONZALEZ, Daniela Joselin. Attitudinal and training factors impacting software projects development as a degree work. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2019, vol.11, n.4, pp. 400-408.  Epub 02-Set-2019. ISSN 2218-3620.

The formation of computer industry professionals has gained strength in recent years. The degree works are considered the most difficult step to obtain a university degree. This article arises within the framework of the degree unit of the Systems Engineering career at the Salesian Polytechnic University, Guayaquil, which offers the technical project modality consisting in the development and implementation of a software product as degree work. The objective of this research is to detect and evaluate those attitudinal and training factors that affect the students during the development of the projects. In order to understand the problem, related researches were examined the same ones that study the difficulties that exist with the degree works, which helped to understand and delimit the attitudinal and training factors of higher incidence. The applied methodological approach is mixed since it contains both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Surveys were applied as an assessment tool to 36 graduates of the systems engineering career. The obtained results establish that the factors of training have more impact than the attitudinal factors, holding a high level of correlation and dependence.
