Myiasis is the infestation of the living vertebrates by fly larvae that nourish themselves as parasites. Frequently, myiasis is related to extreme poverty and lack of hygiene in developing countries with hot and humid climates. Under those specific circumstances, open and nontreated wounds, ulcers, necrotic tissues and all the anatomical orifices are susceptible to this infection. The treatment includes the surgical removal of all the larvae and the general support of the patient. The objective of this paper is to report a case of facial myiasis associated with a spinocellular carcinoma in an end-stage patient.
