In Cárdenas city, the first gynecological clinic of Cuba was founded. In spite of having been founded from the year of 1890, this installation it was inaugurated November 25 1894 officially. Their illustrious founder was the doctor Fernando Méndez Cape. This historical event was recognized for more than six decades for the members of the Ninth National Congress of History. Settled down as investigation objective to recognize this historical-medical event of our country.
