INTRODUCTION:The school is par excellence the knowledge institution, and also the educational sector giving to productive structure the human resource needed to work in a friendly way with the new technological tools. For that reason, and in front of the scientific development challenges, the education in the mean and higher levels must to train the professional staff able to understand and work in the complex relations among science, technology, and society. OBJECTIVE: To characterize the main educational problems in research and scientific training of cadets in Medicine career. METHODS: We applied a group technique, in this case was the "ideas storm" also called "ideas rain" or "brainstorming". RESULTS: There was a predominance of professors with an antiquity between 20 and 35 years (5 for a 62, 5 %). The main problems were the no-application of techniques and participation educational examinations. Among the objectives, the contents, and the training examinations of cadets, are not prioritized the features related to researches, and many of these activities are reduced to activities of scientific society of students. Abilities for search of scientific information are not developed. CONCLUSIONS: The no-application of techniques and participation educational examinations creating habits and knowledges in student to face the researches together with the no-develop of abilities for scientific information search is the major educational problem in the scientific and researching training of cadet in Medicine career.
