The article present an updated look on the links between logics, as a science, and the social research. It is aimed at answering some of the inquiries about the role that formal logical and dialectical logical contents play in the construction of the scientific knowledge, which contribute to provide consistency and logic to the scientific activity. The formal logical and the dialectical logic complement each other in the construction of the scientific knowledge, but each of them play different roles in this process. Consequently this material is aimed at contributing to explain some of the moments of unity and difference.
