The objective of the research was to determine the level of scientific culture of the students of the Faculty of Education of the National University of the Center of Peru, which is made up of seven Professional Academic Schools (PAS). The level of this research was descriptive, prospective and longitudinal. The instrument used was the Scientific Culture Questionnaire (SCQ) made up of 73 items, whose design and construction was based on the recommendations of the Antigua Manual (OEI-RICYT) which was then applied, through the survey technique, to 72 students, selected by probabilistic and stratified sampling. The level of scientific culture of the students was determined, first by PAS and from these, the level of general scientific culture of the faculty, which, analyzed in terms of frequencies, was 44.61%, corresponding to a low level of scientific culture, according to an established scale.
