Scientific communication is vital in a world where information and knowledge are key elements for development. Universities as generating and disseminating institutions of scientific knowledge have a leading role. The article presents the essential elements that characterize the studies that have been carried out on this subject in the context of Cuban universities, as well as the main results of a questionnaire applied to university professors from different universities in Havana. The objective of this work is to expose the results of the design of a methodological strategy to improve the scientific communication of research results of university professors.
