In Ecuador, the Mathematics subject is usually described as a difficult and less pleasant subject, due to the traditional teaching methods and strategies used by some teachers, as the main factors that affect demotivation, acquisition of research skills and low academic performance of the students. This work aims to design the smart flipped classroom as an emerging didactic strategy to improve the teaching and learning of Mathematics. The methodology used is bibliographical and documentary of a qualitative nature, with the main result being the intelligent flipped classroom strategy as a novel and attractive teaching and learning alternative that awakens motivation and causes the student to assume a more active role in learning where the teacher is a guide, mediator and companion in the construction of knowledge.
