The epidemiologic indicators established in the National Program for Prevention and Control of Intrahospital Infection are evaluated in this paper. The survey of Instantaneous Prevalence of Nosocomial Infection proposed by the Expert Committee of the World Health Organization was applied in "Luis de la Puente Uceda" Polyclinic-Hospital. Its behaviour was analyzed according to the medical services, the most frequent site of localization and the association with invasive maneuvers. The use of antibiotic therapy is studied and the subregister found by the research in connection with the report of the Committee of Intrahospital Infection is shown
