A prospective study was conducted which start and end in a descriptive way on the cerebrovascular disease with the new cases treated in the Municipal Rehabilitation Service of Artemisa municipality during 2008, with the general objective of to describe the results from the mediate treatment. From a universe including 40 patients, the sample was of 25 patients and due to the population was small; we selected those considered hemiparetic to compare its clinical course at 6 months of standardized and individualized treatment. To compare its effectiveness degree we used the McNemar's docime or the method of four pictures used in small samples to seek a statistic significance and that the values obtained were not randomized. As regards the results: from the 14 cases under rehabilitation treatment in immediate stages, 9 of them (63,7 %) had a obvious clinical improvement passing to stage with only minimal neurologic signs (operational definition of variable). The was predominance of male sex with a total of 30 cases, the 37 % was aged between 60 and 69 and the clinical stage of the hemiparetic was prevalent in all the cases (54,6 %).
