A documental review of the works done for the completion of residencies such as Doctoral dissertations and Master Degress during 1995-1996 at the Faculty of Public Health, was performed. The main type of investigation carried out was found to be the research of descriptive studies. It was evidenced that the main priorities are the tutorship of thesis done by professors of lower teaching categories. It was observed as a positive element, the fact that more than 50 % of the investigations undertaken provided solutions to the problems concerning the service throught research techniques within the health service.
