In an experimental model of fatigue, developed in Balb/c mice, authors measured stimulant activity of ERGOPANIN, a product manufactured from natural sources. Two control groups were used: saline and white, this one without active principles in to types of per os treatment, other of 7 days length, and an experimental group with a dose of 10 mg/kg, calculated from active principles. There weren´t significant differences between two control groups in both treatments. It was noted presence of significant differences between saline control group, and the experimental group in both types of treatment. We conclude that ERGOPANIN has an stimulating activity (ergogenic) with the dose used in the two instances.
