In 1947 at The Medical Sciences University of Buenos Aires,when Ernesto Guevara is admitted the medical studies were displayed in six courses in 30 cathedras, undeniably influenced by the Cordoba reforms. Che shared the famous phrase of the XIX Century Professor Don Jose Letamendi : “That one who only knows about medicine , doesn’t even know about medicine” He started his researches to know what was necessary to be a revolutionary doctor, then he discovered that to be a revolutionary doctor a Revolution was first to be through. After two weeks of the revolutionary triumph, he was nominated, in our National Medical Council as a Cuban honorary doctor. About people’s participation in health actions he would have soon said: “The principle to attack diseases is to create a robust body, not by the artistic actions of a doctor over a weak body, but to create a robust body among the collectivity with the collectivity participation”. He points clearly the role of the doctor in such medicine :”The doctor, the working doctor, must go to the center of our work, which is the man within the collectivity”
