For it, the present monographic article was realized having as target to reflect on the importance that has the Early Intervention, in terms of social insertion to children with Syndrome of Down and in the interrelation Down - Family - Community from a sociological perspective. It was considered that when there is achieved an exhaustive and opportune attention, the orientations and helps that there receive the families, which have a child with Syndrome of Down, it turns out to be beneficial for the development sicomotor and socially of the same one. In this sense, the sociological attention that is offered to the Syndrome of Down must not exclude the family and, for ende, to the community. More investigations on this topic are necessary.
