The insufficiencies that the average technicians in Agronomy present to identify and solve professional problems with efficiency, independence, flexibility and creativity, show a problem in their training process directed, essentially, to their labor competencies. For this reason, the objective was to develop a methodology, based on a competency-based training model that helps to improve their professional training. The application of the criterion of experts through the Delphi method, surveys, interviews, scientific observation and the realization of a pedagogical pre-experiment, allowed verifying the importance and pertinence of the methodology for the training of labor competences.
