The current transformations in the training model have required Higher Education to reconsider the professional profile models. In this effort, the curriculum in the Electrical Engineering career is perfected, in which the essentiality of the contents is essential to reduce training time and achieve higher levels of independence and leadership of the student. For this, it is important to take advantage of the advantages offered by Information and Communication Technologies in the educational field, so the objective of the article is to propose programming as a method to improve the teaching-learning process of electrical engineers through the development of a graphical interface application derived from Scilab. The research was developed in the Electrical Engineering career with a sample of 70 4th year students, the results obtained corroborate the importance of using the proposed method.
