Knowledge in relation to psychosexual development in school age conditions the Orientation and Counseling processes developed by psychopedagogues in school institutions. For this reason, the need to explore the knowledge regarding psychosexual development in the school age of students of Psychopedagogy at the University of Cienfuegos was assessed. The research carried out is part of a first stage of an exploratory cross-sectional design, belonging to a two-stage model by derivation to be carried out later. The sample of the study, of a non-probabilistic nature, resulted from 29 students attending 4th and 5th year. For the study, after assessing the potential of the Career Curriculum to develop adequate knowledge and attitudes in relation to psychosexual development in school age, a questionnaire was designed to explore students' knowledge in relation to psychosexual development. in school age. The results allowed to consider the levels of knowledge of the students in relation to the psychosexual development in the school age, as well as to collect qualitative material that can be useful to extract units of analysis usable in standardized instruments of the later stages of the investigation.
